Lunda Hoyle Gill Signed print of a Native American Indian with Pony Tails

American art print by Lunda Hoyle Gill ,This "Lunda Hoyle Gill" print was taken from a charcoal drawing entitled " Ben,Taos Indian" Insigned lower right. See Chriistian Science Monitor 12/21/76 where an article on the artist appears on this image. The original frame measures 20 inches by 25 inches,the print measures 14 inches by 19 inches.There is some foxing on the print. Lunda Hoyle Gill has had two exhibitions at he the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History one in 1976 "The Tribal People of Kenya" the second in 1979 "Alaska's Native People Eskimos,Aleuts and Indians" The Hammer Gallery in New York City held exhibitions of her work in 1978 and 1980.This painting was purchased from the 1978 Hammer Gallery exhibit She also had exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Hermitage Museum ST. Petersburg, Russian. Lunday Hoyle Gill's work has been or is still in the following collections, Senator Henry Bellmon, Senator Dewey Bartlett, President Lyndon B Johnson,Charlton Heston, Burt Reynolds,The Frye Museum,Seattle,Washington,the Genesee Country Museum, Mumford,New York, the Oklahoma Museum of Art, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Art Center, Oklahoma City, various Universities and other private collections throughout the United States,Canada,Mexico and Europe. She won many awards including the Stacey Fellowship. The Christian Science Monitor did and article on her on Tuesday December 21,1976. A book of her Chinese paintings The Han and the Fifty Five Minority Nationalities was published by the University of Hawaii Press and a second book Before the Rainbow Fades,collected her Israeli paintings. She also designed five stamps for the US Postal Service issued from Cody Wyoming August 17 1990. Her subject was Indian Feather headdresses for Assiniboine, Sheyenne, Comanche, Flathead, and Shoshone tribes.

The original frame measures 13 and five eighths inches by 16 and three quarters inches,the image measures 7 inches by 9 inches.There is some foxing on the print. Vintage Willem de Kooning print,Vintage Willem de Kooning signed Lithograph Print. This lithograph by "Willem de Kooning" is in titled "Washington Monument Peace Sign" . This image depicts the Washington Monument with its water fountains which together symbolize a peace sign. This signed de Kooning print dates from 1970 to 1971. The image measures 25 inches by 35 inches and the frame measures 42 inches by 35 inches. This image was given by Willem de Kooning to a close friend as a gift.There are some creases in the paper from before it was framed.

Artist J W Turner,Hindu Worshippers by J W Turner Engraved by R Dunkarton. This print by J W Turner was published in 1811 and Named "Hindu Worshippers. This wonderful period print measures 8 and one half by eleven and one half and the frame measures 15 inches by 20 inches. Excellent original condition.

Hughson Hawley New York Stock Exchange color lithograph 1882

Charles Hart lithographed Print by artist Hughson Hawley of the New York Stock Exchange color lithograph 1882. This "New York Stock Exchange" was printed in New York by Charles Hart. Hughson Hawley born England 1850 died 1936. This wonderful image is in its original birdseye maple frame which measure 26 by 34 and one half inches. The image measures 18 by 26 inches. Very good condition.
